While growing up in Northern Illinois, my most vivid memories were spending quality time with my Dad hunting Pheasants in the numerous corn fields around our home. Looking back, those were the defining moments of our relationship and we still talk about them today. After college I moved to Aspen, Colorado where I enjoyed skiing and rock climbing and started my career as a Carpenter. Six years later I was ready for a more laid back life style but still needed the mountains and rivers but with less people around..I picked Salmon, Idaho off the map, sight unseen, and moved there. That was almost 30 years ago and I thank my lucky stars for making such a leap of faith.
So far in Salmon I have finished my 22 year career as a Carpenter. My wife Dee Dee was a river outfitter here on the Salmon River for 16 years and we have just celebrated year 13 of starting Hometown Realty; we are partners in life and in business. When I’m not working you’ll probably find me fishing with my Buddies, chasing those wily Chukars and Grouse around and maybe a little golf now and then. Salmon is truly an outdoorsman’s dream come true. I feel so fortunate to have found such a special place to live, work and play and I look forward to helping you and your family start making those memories which will be your defining moments.
