I grew up on a farm in Southern Idaho where my Dad and I spent all our time together hunting or fishing. We spent vacations and long weekends in this Salmon River Country and while still in high school I decided that someday I would live here to enjoy the rivers and mountains every day. That someday came in 1967 and my wife and I have never regretted moving to this community. On our free time our biggest challenge in the summer is deciding whether to go to one of the high country lakes, float the river or just stay home and enjoy the backyard. In the fall months, our free time is spent hunting big game or on my personal favorite outdoor activity, fishing for Idaho’s famous Steelhead Trout on the Salmon River. For the newcomers to our valley, any outdoor activity you choose is only minutes away.
